We're really looking forward to 2019 and our renewed vision of being a people focused on Jesus. A key aspect to focusing on Jesus is experiencing God through reading the Bible. However, we all know that maintaining a regular Bible reading habit can be challenging. So let’s do it together!
We're inviting you to join us in 2019 in a shared Bible Reading Plan in one (or more) of these ways:
We're keen to see who's choosing to get involved in what options so if you can RSVP by clicking on the links provided that would be great.
See the attached flyer for full details.
As we move into a new year, we re-focus our vision as a church community on Jesus Christ alone.
Stay tuned for how this vision will shape life for us as individuals and a community into 2019.
Greg Pearce has launched his first published novel Almost Schmidty.
Almost Schmidty is located in Flaxley and the surrounding areas in the Adelaide Hills - Jupiter Creek Gold diggings, Mt Barker High, Nairne Oval, the Bugle Ranges, Echunga and the Flaxley dairy farms and the 'Methodist' Church.
The book was launched by local author Anne Bartlett at Flaxley Hall on November 18, and was a wonderful afternoon including entertainment and supported other local Christian authors.
If anyone is interested in buying Almost Schmidty, ring Koorong Books and ask them to get it in for you, as the more people who do this, the more likely they will stock the book.
You can also purchase the book online through [Ark House Publishers](https://www.arkhousepress.com/almost-schmidty/).
