Coro Youth

Coro Youth runs every Friday night during the school term.

We normally meet at the church from 6:30 for a 7pm start, and finish at 9pm.

Our aim is to “Lead young people to Jesus through authentic, Christ-centred relationships.”

It’s a place for high school students to learn that they are known and loved by Jesus, and be surrounded by others who believe the same. Our goal is that it would be a place of community in a world that is increasingly disconnected.

A normal Friday night involves activities, a bible-based talk about God, and small groups. We love to play games and eat food, and each weeks’ activities are a bit different so be prepared for anything! We have a team of young adult volunteers who are there every week and get so excited to invest in our young people. The team is led by Jethro, our youth and young adults pastor, who is always up for a chat with the parents as well!

Along with our regular nights, we also have special events throughout the term such as our annual fundraising quiz night, combined events with other youth groups, and our State Youth Conference.
