Get to know the team behind our church’s mission. Our staff section introduces you to the pastors and administrative workers who keep our community thriving.
Simon is our lead pastor. He first connected with CoroUniting when he was 20, coming to faith in Jesus as part of the Youth Group. More recently he has returned with his family after ministering in the Clare Valley. Simon is married to Carolyn, with three daughters: Jesse, Tilly and Trinity
Jethro is the pastor responsible for Youth, Young Adults and Church Structure. He is passionate about Youth and Young Adults and how to equip and train them for a lifetime of faithful service to the church and not just to get a bigger youth group.
“I love the privilege I have to work with young people, to wrestle with their big questions and with God’s help to grow and point them to Christ.”
Jethro is married to Rosie and they have two children, Daisy and Micah.
Meet the guiding hands of our church community. Our Church Council, consisting of elders, senior pastor, and treasurer, diligently steward our resources and provide wise counsel to ensure our congregation’s well-being.
Wes Chambers is the Chair of Coro’s Church Council. He enjoys caring pastorally, working in admin issues and supporting the work and calling of others in Coro’s community.
Marina has spent many years at Coro, becoming a Christian as a teenager at Wirraway, and having her faith nurtured and grown at Coro youth group. She married Jim at Coro and this has been their church home ever since. They have three great children: Tom, Noah and Mae.
Marina is involved in praying and discerning God’s leading for Coro, practically caring for our congregation, as well as looking outwards to sharing the Gospel with Coro’s wider community.
Tony describes himself as “a sinner saved by God’s Grace through Jesus Christ my Lord.
Through the people He has sent my way, the cultures Jill and I have been a part of and the circumstances in which we have found ourselves, Christ has always been faithful to Himself from which we have seen His blessings.”
Tim is married to Cat, and they have three children, Poppy, Jonty, and Remy. They have been at Coro for around 5 years.
Currently, Tim serves as Principal of Bible College SA, a role that sees him active as a team and institutional leader, a ministry strategist, and a lecturer in a range of areas. Tim has also served as a local church pastor for around ten years.
He is keenly committed to the church as the bride of Christ, a gift of the Spirit, and the centre of what God is doing in his world.
Terry is CoroUniting’s treasurer, responsible for week-to-week financial choices and the church’s financial direction
